Dr. Nathalie C. Zeitouni, MD, is a highly respected board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon specializing in cutaneous oncology and reconstructive surgery. She is committed to providing exceptional dermatologic care and currently practices at U.S. Dermatology Partners in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition, she serves as a Professor of Dermatology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, where she plays a pivotal role in educating the next generation of dermatologists.
Dr. Zeitouni earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at McGill University and continued her dermatology residency at Université Laval in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Following her residency, she pursued a Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Throughout her career, Dr. Zeitouni has held numerous leadership positions, including Chair of the Department of Dermatology and Director of the Mohs Surgery Fellowship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York. She also served as the Vice Chief of Dermatology at the University of Arizona in Tucson and as the Section Leader of Dermatology, Mohs Surgery, and Melanoma at the University of Arizona Cancer Center at Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.
A recognized leader in dermatology, Dr. Zeitouni specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancers, with a particular emphasis on rare cutaneous tumors such as Merkel cell carcinoma, dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, and extramammary Paget’s disease. She is also a national authority in photodynamic therapy (PDT) and has extensive experience in managing skin cancers in organ transplant recipients.
As a dedicated researcher, Dr. Zeitouni has secured multiple grants from the National Cancer Institute and industry partners, contributing to over 100 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. She is an active member of several esteemed professional organizations, including the American College of Mohs Surgery and the International Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
