60 Minute Club - A One-Time Donation to Give Dermatology a Voice in Arizona. Details »

The 60-Minute Club gives dermatology a voice in Arizona, focusing on advocacy and education rather than political action. Access to legislators is crucial for maintaining the integrity of psychiatry practice in our state. The 60-Minute Club facilitates this access, with our lobbyists advocating on our behalf and engaging legislators on bills that impact both our practice and our patients.
Times of challenge are increasingly common in Arizona, underscoring the importance of our collective voice. Your support enables the Arizona Dermatology Society to address critical issues affecting us all.
Commit an hour for your profession!
Pledge to contribute the equivalent of one hour’s worth of your earnings annually to the 60-Minute Club, supporting efforts to safeguard dermatology practice in Arizona.
Help fortify dermatology in our state and defend our specialty from attempts to legislate benefits under similar-sounding credentials. Relying solely on membership dues is no longer sufficient to sustain effective advocacy on the unique legislative challenges facing dermatology in Arizona.
Join the 60-Minute Club today and help us secure victories in legislative battles that impact our profession.

How does it work?
Zirconia dental implant

All-on-4

Today’s state-of-the-art implant systems enable a minimum number of implants to support a maximum number of teeth. This means that with as few as four implants, you will be able to support a full arch of fixed, non-removable replacement teeth. This incredible life-changing event can be completed in a single day!
All-on-4 implants offer a number of distinct advantages over traditional counterparts. Other dental implants will require anywhere between 6 to 10 implants per jaw, which can be unpleasant for a patient who will need to have 6 to 10 separate incisions made into their gums, followed by the same number of holes drilled into their lower jaw.

How does it work?

Of the four implants used, 2 are fixed vertically to the front of the jaw where the bone is thickest. Like other implants, a hole will be drilled into the bone into which the implants will be placed. These will then be left over a recovery period to fuse to the bone, forming a solid, stable, and long-lasting implant. The final 2 are affixed further back in the jaw, and angled so as to avoid important nerves and arteries. Together these 4 fixings can provide an effective base for the attachment of prosthetic teeth without the hassle, inconvenience, and discomfort of many more implants.
All-on-4 allows for the easy and stable attachment of full arches of teeth, this particular type of implant means that any prosthetic teeth fitted will bit the natural shape of your jaw, feeling much more natural and comfortable.

Zirconia dental implant

Crowns made of zirconia are becoming increasingly common, and they do offer some advantages.
  • Strength
One of the biggest advantages of zirconia is its strength and durability. Consider how much force your back teeth exert on the food that you chew. Your crowns need to be made of a strong material, so zirconia may be a good choice for crowns in the back of your mouth. Also, because zirconia is so strong, a dentist won’t have to do as much preparation of your tooth.
  • Longevity
Zirconia-based crowns fared just as well over the course of 5 years as metal-based crowns, according to a 2017 randomized controlled trial published in the Journal of Dentistry. And crowns made of zirconia, called monolithic zirconia crowns, are especially durable.
  • Biocompatibility
Zirconia is the choice of many dentists for its biocompatibility, which means it’s less likely to provoke the body into producing a reaction or immunological response like inflammation.
  • Same-day procedure
Many dentists can make zirconia crowns in their offices rather than sending an impression of your tooth to a lab to have a crown made. Then, they can cement the crown into your mouth in a single visit.
